District Community Foundation exists to offer a hand up to those in need in El Dorado County and surrounding areas. Through events like District Ice, DCF involves our local community in making an impact that will leave a legacy.

Partnership

There are great organizations making a difference in our region. We aim to partner with as many of them as possible, to support them in continuing and expanding their reach.

Fundraising

Through the support of local businesses and generous individuals, we intend to expand the scope of who we are able to help to statewide and even nationally and globally.

Transparency

You want to know what your money is supporting and we believe that shouldn’t be difficult to find out. As projects and events happen, we will keep you up to date on this site.

Event Spotlight

District Ice

After a very successful launch in 2018-2019, District Ice is returning in November of 2021! This community staple offers an amazing family experience; great food, train rides, amazing views, the regions largest ice rink, and much more. Proceeds raised during District Ice go to benefit local non-profits and causes so people are able to make a difference while making memories. In 2019, District Community Foundation was able to use the proceeds from District Ice to help numerous families that had been displaced by the California Wildfires.
